​​​What’s Included: Our Move-In / Move-Out Checklist

Below is our standard checklist. We’ll tailor it to your home’s size, condition, and any special requests your landlord or real estate agent has.
 

Whole Home

• Dust all surfaces, ledges, and reachable ceiling fans

• Dust blinds, window sills, and baseboards

• Clean interior doors, door frames, and handles

• Spot clean walls & light switches (where safe for paint/finish)

• Vacuum all floors and carpets

• Mop all hard floors (tile, vinyl, wood-safe products)

• Clean inside closets and shelving

• Remove cobwebs

• Empty small trash left behind
   

Kitchen

• Clean exterior & interior of all cabinets and drawers (vacuum & wipe)

• Clean and sanitize countertops and backsplash

• Clean sink, faucet, and drain area

• Clean inside & outside of microwave

• Clean stovetop, burner grates, and control knobs

• Wipe front, sides, and top of oven; spot clean interior

• Clean exterior of refrigerator, including handles and top

• Wipe inside fridge and freezer (if empty and defrosted)

• Clean exterior of dishwasher; wipe edges and seal

• Clean pantry shelves and door

• Sweep and mop kitchen floor
   

Bathrooms

• Scrub and disinfect toilets (inside, outside, and behind)

• Scrub and disinfect tubs, showers, tiles, and grout (where accessible)

• Clean shower doors & tracks, or curtain rod area

• Clean and polish sinks, faucets, and countertops

• Clean mirrors, glass, and chrome fixtures

• Wipe exterior and interior of cabinets and drawers

• Clean towel bars, toilet paper holders, and light switches

• Sweep and mop floors

• Empty small trash left behind
   

Bedrooms, Living Areas & Hallways

• Dust all surfaces, including window sills and ledges

• Dust and wipe baseboards

• Clean interior glass on doors (where applicable)

• Vacuum carpets and rugs

• Sweep and mop hard floors

• Clean closets and built-in shelving

• Clean light switches and door handles
   

Appliances & Extras (As Needed)

• Inside oven deep clean

• Inside fridge & freezer full clean (when emptied and defrosted)

• Laundry area: wipe washer/dryer exterior, clean surfaces & floor

• Interior windows & window tracks (where reachable)

• Garage sweep-out (if requested)
